Food Justice
Food Cultures of the People and for the People
Food Justice Fortnight
Address:
Windmill Hill City Farm, Philip Street, Bristol, BS3 4EA
We invite all people who see themselves connected to immigrant diasporas to come together, share food and stories of their food cultures.
Please ‘drop-in’ to the Windmill Hill City Farm café for an evening of sharing your food culture stories in sharing circles.
The event starts at 6pm and closes at 8.30pm. Come by for however long suits you between these times.
The evening, part of Food Justice Fortnight, will be facilitated by Jo Bushell, Angelina Sanderson Bellamy, and Michal Nahman (UWE Food Systems Researchers), with delicious food and drink by Houria. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your food culture stories.
We hope to use the evening to develop a Food Cultures project led by immigrant peoples’ own ideas of what this should look like.
If you're hosting a good food event in Bristol, share the details here to spread the word far and wide.
