Synopsis: Hosted by Green Tech South West, this in-person evening asks what the rapid surge of AI and data centres means for our environment.

Three speakers explore the dilemma between our desire to innovate with AI, the impact of the data centre infrastructure needed to support that innovation, and the need for greater accountability and responsibility from big tech.

Come to understand the true environmental impact of AI and data centre expansion, find out how we can push back on data centre driven harms, and be part of a friendly and welcoming sustainability community.
