BS3 Jammin’ is an annual weekend event for the local community to donate their surplus locally grown foods, for us to all cook, press and preserve it, in order to reduce food waste and support our local food bank.
Volunteer chefs cook and preserve all weekend as members of the public join in to help with food prep and learn from the chefs.
Other activities include apple pressing, following our very own PYO Map around BS3 and finding out what’s growing in the area, a cooking competition (where the only rule is to use something from the harvest), an educational compost stall, arts and crafts and more!
