Hear from Garden Folk CIC’s Alex Goodman with an update about salad and flower subscriptions, sustainable Valentine’s gifts and an exciting apple grafting workshop

At Garden Folk CIC, based at Purple Patch on Watercress Farm in Boiling Wells, we believe in celebrating the connection between people and the land. As a community of artists, creatives, growers and food lovers, we’re always looking for new ways to bring fresh, sustainably grown produce to local people. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce two new pick-up points for our salad and flower subscriptions in Bristol, launching this spring!

New pick-up points for local salad and flowers

Starting in April, two fantastic community centres will host our freshly harvested salad leaves and beautiful cut flowers, helping us get them into the hands of more people in Bristol:

  • The Elmsgrove Centre, Redland – located next to Bannatyne’s Health Club and Cotham Gardens, and behind Zetland Road.
  • St Anne’s House, Brislington. You can find our produce at the cafe, Cibomatto Canteen, alongside other great community initiatives like The Bristol Community Sauna, The Community Gym, The Community Pottery, and Mayk.

Each location will have a small fridge where subscribers can collect their salad bags and cut flower bunches once a week. Salad subscriptions will begin in April, with flower subscriptions following in May.
