Finzels Festive Fridays start on 2 December!
By Sophie Bowden Events
Finzels Reach Market is a twice-weekly market that will be bringing a festive spin to its Friday offerings.
This December, Finzels Reach Market invites you to join us for Finzels Festive Fridays.
Each Friday in December (2nd, 9th and 16th) between 11am and 2pm, Finzels Reach Market will be inviting some very special producers and traders to help get you in the festive mood. Expect comforting street food to keep you well-fed if you’re doing some Christmas shopping nearby and local produce to take home as Christmas gifts.
Just some of the produce on offer will include homemade kimchi, curry pastes and apple juice from Redcatch Community Kitchen, mulled mince pie gin from Bristol Dry Gin and beer from Lost and Grounded, olives and olive oil from Shorrk, organic chocolates and hot chocolate from Harth Chocolate, chilli sauces from Somerset Chilli Garden and British cheese from Two Belly.
Plus, don’t forget your weekly bread and mince pies from The Orchard Bakery and on Friday 16th December, follow the unmistakable nutty smell and you’ll be rewarded with the ultimate winter comfort food – hot chestnuts!
Sophie Bowden, founder of Finzels Reach Market says, “Who doesn’t like food as gifts at Christmas?! We’ve carefully selected some great local producers who make wonderful artisan food to take part in Friday’s market as we approach the big day. Whether you’re looking to support local, need a Christmas idea for a food lover or are wanting some festive foodie treats for yourself; we’ll have you covered.”
Steve Bluff from Redcliffe and Temple Business Improvement District (BID) added, “The Finzels Reach Market has always been really popular with workers, residents and visitors to the BID area and this extra festive treat on Fridays throughout December is sure to be welcomed by many.It is a fabulous opportunity to do some Christmas shopping, treat yourself and have some great food all in one place. The Redcliffe & Temple BID team would be delighted if you could bring your own lunchbox along to the market to help reduce waste and improve sustainability”
