Help The Community Farm raise funds at the Autumn Equinox shin-dig to celebrate the end of the summer harvest.

Over the last 12 years The Community Farm has turned empty fields into a thriving local hub that means so much to so many.

As the busy summer season draws to a close with much of the harvests gathered in. Days become shorter than nights again and for growers working days shorten and we start embracing the slower winter months as they draw in. All around the world agrarian societies celebrate this time of year, giving thanks for the year’s bounty, and remembering the ancestors who came before them. Come and celebrate all this at The Farm!

The Farm will have harvest-based activities for all the family, and will be celebrating the harvests with seasonal offerings designed by local food wizards Wild Thyme Kitchen. Dip into activities including meadow meditations, spooky local ghost stories around the fire, harvest songs celebrating our land-working ancestors from folk singer Susanna Waters, and… there will be some brilliant raffle prizes, winners of which will be announced at 4pm.
