As an organiser of his local Repair Cafe and keen gardener, tool maintenance and repair was an inevitable pastime for Tim Barton.

This time of year is the perfect time to prepare your tools for the coming seasons, not only to make them last but to make your life easier in the garden. This event will cover what tools should be sharpened (there aren’t many that don’t), how different tools should be sharpened and how you should keep them clean.

There will also be a seed swap during this event, so bring along your spare seeds and a bit of cash if you wish to make a donation to Avon Organic Group!
