The Board of Directors of Bristol Food Network (BFN) CIC is seeking new volunteer members to support its work. BFN is looking for new members to join the Board who are passionate about fair access to good food and community wellbeing; want to help shape Bristol’s good food future through inclusive collaboration; and bring perspectives, skills or lived experience that may not yet be represented on the board. The West of England – Food and Drink Support Initiative, provide businesses with free support to help overcome challenges and scale up. Over the past nive months, The Food WorksSW technical team have been able to support a range of start-up to established businesses in their growth and development. Including technical issues and product development, kitchen and product development support, food certification support and sector-specific events and workshops. There is a growing skills gap that threatens the future of good food. Most employers want to meet more young people, but often lack the time to host traditional work experience. With your response, we can shine a light on the unsung heroes already making a difference and make it much easier for others to follow suit.
